The salary range for this position is (insert salary range) based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Brands has a hybrid work model with three days in office and two days remote each week.
Provide the Fenty UK business with a comprehensive end to end Visual Merchandising service to ensure that the retail businesses maximise sales success. You will be responsibile for ensuring maximum visual impact for the brands, inline with the Brand DNA and Global to Local strategy through the creation and implementation of both launch and permanent visual merchandising tools and guidelines. You will act as a Fenty brand ambassador and guardian at all times, ensuring all visual merchandising is executed consistently and is truly representative of the brand whilst being engaging for the customer, where possible ensuring the on and offline brand experience are closely mirroring one another. Undertaking regular reviews of all visual activity to ensure the commercial success of the brands, you will work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the productivity of the doors and units are aligning to the Financial objectives, along with close and precise management of the OPEX and CAPEX budgets to support the Brand P&L.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the champion, key internal & external point partner & expert of all things Fenty VM, with a clear vision on Best in Class Merchandising with a close lens on productivity at store & unit level and ROI against OPEX & CAPEX spend.
- Developing from Global assets UK point of sale material with external suppliers, from brief through production, ensuring consistency with brand image, within budgetary parameters and to market specifications.
- Developing the local creative strategy for Fenty, seeking out opportunities to continue to drive both core and NPD business, ensuring the Global teams are taken on the journey of local market specific needs to drive the UK business forward.
- Adapt, communicate and implement Merchandising Guidelines for all launches and animations, in order to ensure perfect execution across all store types, on time and in line with budget.
- Creating and managing the graphic updates, for new launches, onto core merchandising and launch collateral as outlined by the brand in a consistent way to the current overall look and feel of the brand.
- Responsible for perfect on counter execution of all VM activities across all points of sale
- Manage external suppliers to ensure all collateral is produced within budget parameters and delivered on time
- Responsible for budget and financial administration of all VM activities.
- Partner with external supplier in the provision of counter maintenance to an exceptional level, tracking and reporting progress to key brand stakeholders
- Develop, collate and update universal fixture list and lightbox lists. To maintain/create a Core VM visual database for the UK market.
- Responsible for the allocation and execution of launches & brand updates, ensuring each counter is executing top notch VM collateral.
- Lead regular field visits to ensure that all visual implementation & maintenance of the units in-store is of a high standard ensuring consistent brand image guidelines are adhered to from assets to, load up, to continued quality of the units / product delivery systems.
- Adapting Global planograms and create UK specific planograms for all merchandising collateral, with productivity at the heart.
- Undertake regular VM reviews of each activity, collating and producing quantitative and qualitative feedback, key learnings and future recommendations
- Continuously appraise external suppliers to maximise efficiency and return on investment
- Manage communication with market, ensure all needs are met for both launch and permanent visual merchandising collateral. Providing guidance where necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably with degree; beauty industry / brand experience strongly preferred
- Can demonstrate creative flair and awareness of design and colour upholding the Brand Equity at all times.
- Can work collaboratively and cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders (global, commercial, marketing teams and supplier & retail partners.
- Strong commericial accumen, with the ability to manage budgets and analyse and report back on productivity / ROI
- Detail orientated with impeccable project management skills.
- Excellent sourcing, procurement and supplier management skills
- Close touch and understanding of the Beauty market, Luxury and global brand experience preferably in a beauty retail environment
- Excellent communication skills both externally and at all levels in the company, both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated
- Willing to adapt and take on new / proactively drive new opportunities
- Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
- Ensure all team/department reporting is completed on a timely basis
- Ensure detailed records are kept of regional activity
- Willing to travel across the UK regularly
