Visual Merchandiser - Private Shopping, Fine Jewellery & Watches
Additional Information:
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and experienced Visual Merchandiser to join our fantastic Visual Merchandising Team within the Private Shopping, Fine Jewellery, and Fine Watches Departments at Harrods. With Harrods impeccable visual standards and strong creative vision, you will conceptualise, dress and install displays across your multiple divisions, including project management of creative brand lead takeovers.
About the Role
As a Visual Merchandiser at Harrods, you will work at our iconic Harrods store, utilizing Harrods’ incredible product offering along with impeccable visual standards and strong editorial styling, you will be creating magic within our store.
Further to this, you will have the opportunity to design and coordinate the installation of visual concepts in line with a seasonal Marketing calendar. You will maintain and monitor the standards across all departments, ensuring that all areas are clean and aesthetically pleasing. You will create guidelines that can be shared internally and externally, ensuring that standards are maintained.
As a Visual Merchandiser, you will display flexibility to work across multi-site locations and adapt to processes across different environments. You will be able to engage and self-progress with continued awareness of the ever-changing seasons and trends.
You will need to be able to create retail theatre to elevate the customer experience and promote an obvious and clear link to the overarching storewide narrative.
About You
You will be proactive, with impeccable attention to detail, and have the ability to balance practical work with project management work, showing strong organisation skills. You will demonstrate great communication skills when liaising with brands and suppliers on window projects, as well as being able to multitask.
You will have the ability to show talent in styling, outfit building, and product selection alongside the capability to translate research into the form of mood boards, design ideas, and trend reports. You will have a passion for Fine Jewellery and Watches.
You will also be confident to:
- Research and develop creative concepts - including competitive research
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and liaise with brand partners for upcoming promotions
- Project coordinate installations and liaising with production companies – this includes reviewing technical drawings and site visits
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite is required, Adobe Suite is preferred, but not essential
