Permanent contract | £8,437 to £8,590 per annum (Scale C) | 15 hours per week | Time & Tide Museum
Norfolk Museums Service (NMS) collectively welcomes over 230,000 visitors a year across ten of Norfolk’s best museums.
Do you have experience gained from working in a retail, leisure or heritage environment with excellent customer service skills, experience of operating tills and understanding of cash handling?
Visitor Services Assistants have to be able to provide a wide variety of front-line services to all visitors from selling admission tickets and merchandise to processing memberships and providing guided tours. This post is offered on a part time basis beginning from 1 st April 2023. Working days are varied Monday to Sunday including regular weekend working, bank holidays and occasional evenings. The successful applicant will be expected to have availability during term time and school holidays.

Please note you do not need previous experience of working in a Museum or detailed knowledge of the arts and history to apply, just a passion for delivering a first-class visitor and welcome experience and a 'can do' attitude. There is no upper age limit for this role.
