About this Role

Antler is always on the lookout for people to join in support of our mission to enable founders from day zero of their journey. We seek outstanding, high-performing graduates and early career professionals considering entering VC and entrepreneurship who can grow Antler to become the most active early-stage investor in the UK whilst gaining hands-on experience. As a Visiting Analyst, you will work with the Antler team and our world-class founders across a broad range of roles, gaining insights into a dynamic team and one of the world's most significant early-stage VC funds with more than $3.5bn under management globally. Everyone for this role must have a genuine understanding and spike in entrepreneurship and startups.

With two or three Visiting Analyst posts, successful candidates will play a key role in supporting the Antler team, our cohorts and portfolio companies by rotating across two or more functions across their twelve-month contract. In addition, we have developed an insightful and informative series of learning and development opportunities on all foundational aspects of an early-stage VC, regardless of your focus.

Visiting Analysts have found this a fantastic launchpad opportunity to join Antler full-time, transition into investment roles, entrepreneurship, or become operators in exciting startups and scale-ups. Previous Analysts have gone on to Chief of Staff roles at leading scale-ups, investor roles at InMotion Ventures, consultancy at McKinsey and founders of their startups.

Functions:

• Scouting (e.g. identify the exceptional entrepreneurs to join our cohorts; access communities and networks, manage a complex talent pipeline from scouting through to onboarding)
• Company-Building (e.g. from entrepreneur to founder; deliver sessions, coaching teams and running due diligence.)
• Investments (e.g. Antler invests directly into startups that are pre-revenue; support the development of a healthy pipeline, evaluate businesses and take them to investment committee)
• Platform (e.g. Support 30+ investment per year go from day zero to greatness; respond to ad hoc requests, deliver incredible value through our advisor network and frequent sprints)
• Marketing & PR (e.g. manage and grow Antler's presence in the startup ecosystem; support events, build relationships and partnerships)
• Operations (e.g. )

You are a top performing recent graduate or an early career professional with exceptional, unexpected insights. You are driven to bring Antler to the next level with full-time availability in London.
