Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our hospice is now recruiting for our exciting new ‘virtual ward’ project which focuses on giving additional care and support to our most vulnerable patients. If you are looking for a fulfilling role and to take the next step in your career this could be the perfect opportunity!
We are currently looking for a excellent Paramedics and Nurses who would like to join our supportive multi-disciplinary team, which provides pain and symptom control, complex psychological support and end of life care. Successful candidates will work with us to form a new palliative and end of life care ‘virtual ward’, ensuring they receive the best possible care on a daily basis. Candidates will need to demonstrate a good degree of autonomy in their practice and be comfortable with a flexible approach to their daily work.
Compassion lies at the heart of what we do so sound communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this post. This means being able to provide clear instructions and support to colleagues, health care assistants and students alike. You will also need to be confident in working using your own initiative, and prioritising your clinical case load.
As a reflective practitioner with a commitment to the provision of excellent care, this post offers the opportunity to develop your skills within a specialist setting.
