Job description
We are excited to advertise for a Project Manager for the newly forming Lincolnshire Virtual Autism Hub. This is an opportunity for a motivated, skilled and passionate individual to lead project management within the Hub and maintain oversight of the Hub delivery offer and all projects funded by it.
Whilst the Hub will initially be hosted under Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust, the intention is for the Hub and its staff to become a separate community organisation over a 3 year period. As a visionary Project Manager you will support the Team Manager to deliver this and so skills, knowledge and experience of developing voluntary, charitable or social enterprise sectors would be an advantage.
The Virtual Autism Hub has a clear ethos of co-design and co-production to enhance local community support offers for the wider Lincolnshire autistic community. The Hub will work closely with the voluntary sector, in particular local, volunteer-led support groups. The Hub will strengthen and develop volunteer-led community support for autistic adults, CYP and parent/carers, increasing the range, breadth and reach of these groups.
It will also itself offer Specialist Autism Navigators to work directly with people to help them access statutory services and other local support.
The Hub will work to highlight local needs and support the development of practical solutions, promoting and driving change on the needs of the Lincolnshire Autistic community in relevant forums.
Apply project management methodology and expertise to write project documentation and ensure it is up-to-date
Use project management skills to ensure that the Hub’s development is as planned, that milestones are achieved
Prepare and deliver high quality written reports and presentations on the progress of the Hub to LPFT and other statutory organisations
Advise on engagement methodologies and to organise and facilitate stakeholder events
To develop and maintain good relationships with other services including mental health, wider health services, education, social care and community sectors
Support community organisations in developing proposals and applying for grants from the Hub and other agencies in Lincolnshire
Responsible for the construction of data collection methods and analysis of data from grants for Monitoring, Evaluation and organisational Learning
Advise autism support groups on best practice in the VCSE sector, including governance, finance, data protection and organisational development
Responsible for the development and maintenance of information leaflets and promotional material for the Hub
Responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities, from routine sessions for support groups in the Hub to complex programmes of support
Support the Team Manager to seek and source methods and prepare team to move hub into community sector over a 3 year period
Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health services and a number of learning disability, autism and social care services in the county of Lincolnshire. Employing around 2,800 staff, and serving a population of over 766,000, our people lie at the heart of everything we do.
You could be part of a Trust rated by staff as one of the best mental health and learning disability trusts in England, in an area heralded as a fantastic place to live and work. We firmly believe the key to high quality care is a contented workforce. This is reflected in our Care Quality Commission rating of ‘outstanding’ for well-led and ‘good’ overall. In the most recent National NHS Staff Survey, our staff rated us as the number one trust nationally for staff morale and one of the top scoring NHS Trusts in the Midlands for being compassionate and inclusive. We’re really proud of this!
We are also leading the way in transforming care, with multi-million-pound transformation of patient environments and radical redesign of community services.
This is the time to join and help redesign our services of the future. We offer options for flexible working and provide a wide range of training and promotion opportunities in all professions. We support and celebrate diversity, have active staff networks groups and are always looking at what more we can do to support our staff.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for maintaining oversight of all projects running within the Hub delivery offer and all projects funded by it.
You will provide high quality written reports to Lincolnshire statutory and public services, including data analytics and outcomes and oversee the financial management of grants distributed by the Hub.
You will support the development of the Hub through planning and leading stakeholder engagement activities. This will include planning and delivering training to support group leaders for organisational development as well as planning more complex training and upskilling to be delivered by non-hub staff. You will assist autism support groups/organisations to apply for grants managed by this service and enhance their capability to apply for grants
Key management responsibilities include using project management skills to ensure Hub's development is as planned, applying project management methodology and expertise to write project documentation, advise on engagement methodologies and to organise and facilitate stakeholder events and writing proposals.
You will support the team manager on the development of ideas and innovative practice, and in preparing the Hub for independence from NHS services.
Additional support will be offered by the LPFT Lead for Autism and Learning Disability, but you will be expected to function with an appropriate level of independence and autonomy in your development of the Virtual Autism Hub.
