The virtual agent team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst. For this role, the ideal candidate must be an experienced and execution data driven individual, who has the ability & acumen to manage a dynamic delivery schedule, on a month to month basis. The position requires an individual who has the ability to translate complex business issues & requests into comprehensible requirements, for functional delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and articulate near-term business needs, advise businesses on options, risks, and costs of technology solutions versus benefits
- Experienced user of JIRA and delivering business solutions via the creation of related user EPICS and Stories
- Work closely with the Product owner, design and development teams to define key requirements for business use cases.
- Proactively communicate requirements/priorities and project status to key stakeholders; solicit feedback and obtain sign-off on project documentation.
- Effectively translate business requirements into value-added, comprehensive solutions that will feed into test plans using appropriate processes, procedures and technology
- Manage the implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, that will contribute to training material development
- Responsible for the successful delivery of monthly prioritized product items, including defect resolution
- Ensuring blockers are appropriately managed, resolved and escalated, where required
- Assist the team in identifying any additional areas of improvement to
- Providing regular status updates to Product Owner, Product teams and related partners
Requirements:
- Experienced Business Analyst working within an Agile Technology/ Product delivery environment
- Practical application of Agile methods in real-time scenarios
- Deep understanding & practical experience of JIRA, including EPIC creation/ Story writing/ Status management/ Dashboard reporting
- Technology/ Process release management experience essential
- Defect identification/ management/ resolution skills needed for legacy; in-flight & post-release issues identified
- Ability to manage dynamic and detailed delivery schedules, including daily book of work management
- Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Highly energetic self-starter with a focus on obtaining results
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills; able to present effectively
- Ability to lead and influence varied stakeholder groups & situations, in order to progress initiatives
- Ability to communicate effectively across many levels of the organization, including synthesizing key messages for senior management and stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, and quickly adjust/ make tactical choices to changing priorities
