Vintage Driver

The Peninsula London is delighted to announce we are seeking a Vintage Driver to provide professional and efficient service to hotel and residential guests using the Hotel’s vintage car fleet. This position will have intricate knowledge and passion for vintage cars, its history, and basic mechanical requirements. The role is more than driving guests in vintage cars but will have the confidence to be able to speak and present these unique automobiles contributing to a memorable guest experience. Key accountabilities
- Responsible for the Peninsula’s Vintage car fleet, maintenance, and upkeep to ensure highest service quality. Ensures that the vehicles are set up according to guest preferences and profiles, and according to hotel policies.
- Ensures that the vehicles are in immaculate condition (mechanical, cleanliness and physical condition).
- Upon receipt of job order for transfers and shopping excursions to re-confirm with Concierge Desk to understand the guests’ exact needs and areas of interest in shops to be visited and items to be purchased.
- To be vigilant to safety precautions and adhere to all rules and regulations imposed on UK driver license holders.
General requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a driver within a luxury hotel property or similar.
- Must hold a full UK driver’s license and a PCO Licence and understand and comply with UK driving legislation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Friendly and helpful demeanour with ability and confidence to hold polite conversations.
- Fluent English communication proficiency.
