Job description
Marshall Amplification plc is a well-established Company based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. An opening has arisen for a Vietnam Manufacturing Assistant.
This role will provide general support to the Overseas Senior Manager with the overseas manufacturing operations in Vietnam.
Duties include:
- To support with all aspects of current project for new product and ongoing production
- Liaising with overseas suppliers and HK office team as required
- Raising orders for suppliers
- Ordering materials from Vietnam factory for prototypes
- Bulk ordering of materials for overseas production
- Work with the overseas office to check order statuses
- Liaising with Vietnam factory warehouses shipping and prioritise deliveries
- Organise and control logistical movement of components by sea and airfreight
- Keep track of OEM suppliers and prices to be correctly matched in system
- Keeping supplier and order records updated
- Updating in house databases when required
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will ideally have the ability to write and speak Mandarin Chinese and have had at least 2 years experience of working within a manufacturing environment with a preference to electronics.
A good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages including Microsoft Excel is essential along with good attention to detail and experience of working with document management systems.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm, with an hour for lunch on each day.

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
