Edinburgh University Students' Association is looking to recruit a Videographer to join our Marketing & Communicationsteam.
Salary: £10.99 per hour
Hours: Zero hours (some weekend working)
Annual Leave: Paid holiday will be given for hours worked at 15.55%. This will be paid out in January, April, July and September.
Contract: Zero Hours

The Role:
The Videographer is enthusiastic and skilled at creating high quality video content for the Students’ Association’s communications channels.
Covering events that occur on and around the Students’ Association venues and campuses, including, but not limited to, Welcome Week, society events, elections, award ceremonies and commercial activity is a large part of the role, as well as creating videos to brief for specific campaigns and promotional purposes.
In addition to capturing video content for the Students’ Association’s website, social media and Press & PR work, you will also be required to work on creating videos for use across our digital channels, including social media. Therefore, editing knowledge is essential.
As well as creating videos to brief, you will be expected to demonstrate collaborative working skills and offer creative input when needed.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to gain professional experience in a busy marketing environment, alongside other videographer and photographer colleagues. Ideally, a student or early career videographer will fill the position.
The role will require a flexible approach to working events, which will require working weekends and late evenings at busy events such as club nights.
In addition to being on-campus when required, you will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work remotely and independently.
The Person:
An enthusiastic, confident, creative and approachable content producer with demonstrable experience in creating quality videos for use primarily on social media.
A person with a high expectation of themselves and others, with a passion for detail and the ability to complete projects on time, to a high standard.
