Job Title: Video Producer
Reporting to: Head of Video Production
Department: Video
Job Context: Producer/Director, Camera Operator and Editor
You will report to the Head of Video Production and will be working alongside and supporting the Video team. As a video producer you we will be an integral part of production. You will be able to plan, shoot and edit content in a single bound to a high production standard.
To be a suitable candidate you must have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work quickly under pressure, without compromising on attention to detail. You will always be striving to produce the highest standard of work to represent a well-rounded and talented Creative team, eager to learn, develop and flourish within their role.
Job Responsibilities:
· Helping with the full production workflow
· Interpreting briefs and achieving aims
· Creating shot lists and storyboards with the wider team
· Setting up production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and tripod cameras
· Filming on location using Sony cameras, including FX6, A7S iii and associated production equipment
· Setting up radio mics and recording audio
· Casting models and actors
· Video editing using premiere pro
· Basic typography using After Effects
· Video editing/post-production editing
· Adding graphics, special effects, and closed captioning
· Simultaneously manage multiple projects
· Uploading content to online video sites
· Backing up rushes and projects
· Maintaining the equipment inventory
· Collaborating with production staff
· Presenting the final product/final cut
· Any other ad-hoc duties required by Focus
· At all times comply with the company policies, procedures, and instructions
· You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties
Person Specification:
Qualifications
· Ideally have a relevant degree
Experience
· Previous agency experience and examples of relevant work are essential
· You can lead and collaborate in brainstorming sessions, then quickly concept, write, direct, shoot, edit and even post in a single bound
· You can develop workflows and processes around all aspects of digital video production, from assigning and approving to executing and posting
· You will have a variety of skills, from technical / to the analytical and team player qualities
· You will be well versed with Adobe Premier
· Previous experience working in a video producer (or similar) role at a production company, agency, or other digital media brand
· Proven capability as a Producer editor and camera operator. This may be demonstrated with personal projects, freelance work or work undertaken at a junior position within another company
· Have an in depth understanding of video and audio production processes
· Experience juggling multiple tasks to different deadlines
· Experience communicating regular updates with your colleagues
Knowledge and Skills
· Proficient using Word, Excel, Keynote, and similar software in a professional capacity
· An excellent understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro and After Effects, and other video editing Software
· Drone experience is highly desirable
· Able to take creative direction and work to tight deadlines

· Passionate about video & audio with a willingness to learn the different processes that help ensure the smooth running of a production
· A people person with a flexible and versatile nature
· Happy to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
