Full Time Leeds, England 25000 - 30000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

CampusLife are looking for a kick-ass Video Producer to join their Content Team.

We want someone who is passionate about creating engaging video content for web and social media to grab the audience's attention and meet our clients’ aims and objectives.

You’ll work as part of a wider Content team, coming up with original ideas to turn clients’ messages into stand out videos primarily for a student audience. You’ll be a great all rounder, producing and directing shoot days and working with contributors and clients to get the best content possible; but will also be confident filming and editing yours and other team members’ projects too.

Within this role, you will:

  • Liaise with clients to understand their aims and objectives
  • Produce and direct video projects, coming up with creative video solutions to clients’ requests
  • Write video plans, shot lists and organise filming days to turn that plan into reality
  • Work with key clients from global organisations to make sure their message is communicated in the most engaging, attention grabbing way possible
  • Shoot and edit content on other Content team members’ projects
  • Work as part of a multi-skilled Content team of other in-house video producers, content writers and social media specialists
  • Create content for social platforms - YouTube, Instagram, TikTok - mainly for a youth audience

What’s good and what’s challenging about the role?

  • It’s fast paced. You’ll be working across multiple projects with varying deadlines, styles and audiences. Some days you’ll be filming, some editing, some producing and directing meaning every week is completely different
  • You’ll be travelling around the UK, filming at different university locations and client businesses, so having a driver's licence is essential
  • Our youth audience of 18 - 24 year olds is constantly changing so you need to be up for the challenge of creating content that excites and resonates with this audience. We’ve got a great team of content producers to help with this, but your input needs to be valuable!

You’ll impress us if you have:

  • Relevant agency experience and / or experience creating digital content for a youth audience
  • Demonstrable experience of working across multiple projects with varying deadlines, styles and audiences
  • An exciting showreel that grabs our attention and makes us want to get in touch

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Freelance
