Job Title: Video Producer
Reporting to: Production Manager
Hours: 37.5 per week, working days will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Office-based.
Lieu time available for out of hours which will be required.
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000pa DOE
Annual Leave: 20 days + 8 Bank holidays
Start Date: Late to mid-January (6 months probationary, 2 year contract with extension options)

The job:
We’re looking for an experienced video producer to join our team. You will report into the Production Manager, and be responsible for ensuring your video projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for liaising with your clients for project updates on a weekly basis.
Responsible for:
- Be responsible for client liaison throughout a project’s lifespan and provide best practice customer service
- Working with a team of camera operators and editors to deliver great video content for clients
- Be present on shoots when the project requires additional production experience
- Coordinate schedules of work with the Production Manager to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner
- Ensure all projects are kept on schedule and within budget
- Create call sheets and risk assessments for each project
- Involved in creative discussions with clients and producing scripts and storyboards in line with the brief
- Reporting in to the Production Manager for regular updates and escalations
- Quality Control all video content produced to ensure client brief is met
About you:
- A team player and able to work within a small production department, providing assistance with pre and post production.
- Must have experience with pre-production and a clear understanding of the production and post-production process
- Strive for the highest standards of quality for our clients within the limitations of budgets and deadlines.
- Passionate about creative approaches to briefs and the ability to think outside the box.
- The ability to work under pressure during busy periods and manage several projects at once
- Have great people skills and be able to flex to client’s needs
- Manage supplier relationships and costs, define scope of jobs, negotiate prices with suppliers and estimate production costs and be accountable for all production cost management.
Experience required:
- At least 3 years of producer experience
- Experience of client management
- Be proactive and have a can-do attitude
- Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad
- Able to create and execute on project plans and schedules
- Ability to think creatively and ‘outside the box’
- Strong oral, written, presentation and communication skills
- Work well in a collaborative fast-paced team environment
- A good eye for detail
- Can work effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines
- Courage to challenge and innovate
- Full clean UK driving licence
