We're looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our Leeds team.
As a video editor you are passionate about storytelling through moving image; from snappy gifs to compelling longform, you approach the art of editing with imagination and innovation.
Description of Role
- Edit long a wide variety of motion assets to a high standard, from short social films to longer form brand films
- Use of animation to bring copy and films to life
- Lay down basic sound beds, consisting of tracks, VO and live sounds
- Grading of films to a good standard
- Good knowledge of film outputs for a wide variety of media types
- Ability to manage your own time to deliver assets to the agreed deadlines
- Collaborate with the wider team and use own initiative to deliver work with impact
- Quality control of your own work ensuring standards are met
- Carry out and fulfill edit briefs to the highest possible standard
- Demonstrate creative flair and passion for storytelling with high attention to detail
Skills
- Expert knowledge of video editing techniques with a high level of skill in motion graphics, grading and colour correction
- Excellent skills and knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Track sourcing and sound mixing
- Highly creative and act as a guardian of high-quality output
- Methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail
