WHO ARE WE?
Naio Nails Ltd is an international business based in Redcar, TS10. We have a YouTube channel with over 1.7 million subscribers and our Facebook has over 2 million followers. Naio Nails produces inspirational and informative videos covering everything from preparation, nail tip application, sculptured nails, 3D Nail Art, Acrylic Nails and Gel Nails, creative nail designs, plus insider tips, tricks and how-to videos.
We pride ourselves on catering for everybody from the budding nail technician to the competition level expert nail artist. As a company, we also distribute a wide variety of nail supplies to salons and professional nail technicians across the globe.
WHAT'S THE ROLE?
We are looking for a Video Editor to create long-from and short-form video content for our platforms with over 1.7 million subscribers.
In the role you will:
- Editing short-form and long-form video content for the Naio Nails YouTube channel and social channels including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- Create fun, informative tutorials of nail art and nail applications.
- Develop and work with existing branding templates.
- Manage and archive library, following existing edit processes and naming conventions.
- General department support, working alongside producers, our existing team of editors and on-screen talent.
- Overall management of projects, from pre to post production, often on tight turnarounds.
- Work Monday - Wednesday, some weekends may be needed depending on filming schedules. Days are up for negotiation, possibitiy of more hours.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential skills:
- Proven working knowledge of video and audio editing (preferably Adobe suite)
- Qualification in relevant field.
- Confident in own ability to give and take direction as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with a flexible and friendly client management style.
Desirable skills:
- Competency across multiple cameras and workflows.
- Aware of current and evolving online trends.
- Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
- Good knowledge of the nail industry preferred but not desired.
