Job description
You will be responsible for editing a variety of videos on a daily basis. It will be crucial you ensure they are ready for broadcasts. Duties would also include cutting down interviews, stitching together multiple videos, audio leveling, subtitling and much more. You will be using Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe software so experience using this software would be preferred.
Edit and Subtitle recordings for broadcasts (past, current and upcoming)
To work effectively in the team to achieve deadlines of edits for all Learn/Jobs Live Projects/Broadcasts
Manage the workload from recordings to edits from the Projects team to ensure they are completed within the deadline. Always communicate and provide updates to the Deputy Director and rest of Learn Live Team.
Devise and be creative with trailers for the all our News Channels. (Jobs Live, Learn Live, Primary Live, University Live.)
Devise and be creative with soundbites for all our News Channels. (Jobs Live, Learn Live, Primary Live, University Live.)
Showcase interviews hosted on our Jobs Live News Channel
Complete converts of videos that will be included in broadcasts.
Work with current and new clients to educate and promote our video production services.
To ensure that policies, procedures and reporting systems are adhered to at all times
To attend regular manager meetings and communicate information to the media team where applicable.
To work effectively in a team to achieve deadlines of edits for all Learn Live Projects/Broadcasts
Create Idents and logos as required
Share soundbites with Deputy Director which can be communicated and showcased via Social Media.
Produce POST broadcast socials working alongside the other Video Editor
Naming videos correctly and ensuring the thumbnails are of a suitable standard
Ensure google drive is updated and organised to ensure content is easy to find.
Work closely with the other Video Editors and Team Learn Live to ensure we are the best team we can be.
Share and work with the other Video Editor to maximise profits and exploit any opportunities for business growth
Schedule, update and upload 60 minute content for all the channels.
