PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN ASAN KOREA.
OVERVIEW
Company produces electronics specialty gases at a manufacturing plant in Asan, Korea. Company employs approximately 200 people, and generates ~$100M (US dollars) per year of revenue.
VP of Operations reports directly to the President/CEO, supervises Directors and Managers in charge of various departments within the Operations division. VP of Operations manages priorities and resources to achieve company objectives towards becoming the best-in-class electronics specialty gas manufacturer.
OPERATIONS
· Provide hands-on leadership for production and maintenance teams.
· Develop operating budgets and implement long term operations strategies.
· Ensure a safe working environment, and foster a safety mindset among the workforce.
· Ensure continuous improvements in efficiency, reliability, and cost control.
TECHNICAL
· Provide technical leadership for process engineering and project management teams.
· Ensure technical solutions meet regulatory and customer requirements.
· Manage project development, engineering, construction, startup, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems that create and deliver the company’s products.
· Ensure projects are executed on time and on budget.
QC LABORATORY
· Manage QC lab and analytical support functions.
· Ensure proper quality control of production process and finished products.
· Maintain the highest level of laboratory functionality and reliability.
· Manage the development of analytical methods and machine correlation studies.
SUPPLY MANAGEMENT
· Manage shipping & receiving functions.
· Ensure reliable production flow, from raw materials to finished products.
· Ensure rigorous IOQC (incoming/outgoing quality control) of produced and traded goods.
· Ensure accident-free, on-time deliveries to customers.
REQUIREMENTS
Ø MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
Ø 20+ years of specialty gas industry experience, including 10+ years in management.
Ø Goal oriented, results driven, efficiency mindset.
Ø Aptitude in data analysis, problem solving, and decision making.
Ø Ability to effectively lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
Ø Experience working with and managing an international workforce.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
