Job Overview
Leads investment and execution across all paid and *select owned media and their effectiveness. This role owns the strategy and execution across these channels, to drive customer value by helping the brand to further connect with the customer. This role provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure to recruit and lead talent that will ensure seamless execution across major marketing channels.
Responsible for social media (strategy) and the Style Crew influencer program (strategy & activation), both of which are designed to grow brand equity and awareness by delivering elevated brand positioning, communications, social commerce, and personalization across all social channels to drive retention, loyalty, and engagement.
Also responsible for Live Video shopping program (strategy) focused on creating long-term growth, incubating new channels, platforms & customer experiences.

Essential Functions
- Create a plan and vision that can lead to growth in customer acquisition and engagement, that gets translated to paid and owned media and marketing strategies across channels
- Develop the strategy and oversee implementation across media, including, Audio, Video, SEM, SEO, paid social, organic social, influencers, direct mail, display, custom content, FSIs and affiliate that produces stronger marketing campaigns and drive digital performance and results
- Oversee social media strategies and tactics that increase audience engagement and growth across all social media channels
- Create an overall media budget that delivers on media performance targets, and sets needs for media effectiveness measurement (MMM, MTA)
- Advocate for informed innovation, calculated risk-taking, and new media testing, and maintain Macy's position as a leader in the digital media landscape
- Facilitate strong cross-collaboration between digital marketing, merchandising and content to bring campaigns and customer touchpoints to life
- Manage and optimize 3rd party relationships to meet business objectives and ensure execution across key stakeholders
Competencies
- BA required, MBA preferred
- Experience leading paid and owned retail media strategy at an agency, retailer, media network, or CPG manufacturer
- Media executive with 10+ years of deep functional leadership experience in relevant paid and owned media channels
- Strong understanding of performance digital marketing and full-funnel execution
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Prior leadership experience leading a digital team
- Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex decisions
- Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the team's potential
- High energy and passionate individual who inspires teammates to reach their maximum potential
