The Opportunity

This opportunity is accountable for advising, influencing and collaborating with senior leaders to execute Divisional and Global HR Strategy through leadership development, performance management, talent management, organizational structure and employee engagement.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to create strategic workforce plans that align defined business priorities with opportunities to refine organizational structure, acquire and develop talent, drive employee engagement and mitigate talent risks, to defined business priorities
  • Coach leaders as they navigate transformational change, facilitating greater impact by encouraging strong stakeholder involvement, robust communication, and effective implementation
  • Drive analysis of organizational and employee data, delivering insights on trends, and establishing the human capital-related metrics by which the success of the HR activities can be measured
  • Prepare and execute effective onboarding of talent into the business from both internal and external sources
  • Partner with line leaders to identify the skill and competency standards – at individual, team and business area levels – required to meet current and future business objectives
  • Develop and manage succession risks to assure talent acquisition strategies are focused on closing anticipated leadership gaps; ensure future people plans provide workforce stability and capability to support organizational and business growth
  • As part of the Year-End Review process, facilitate dialogue with line leaders to define and calibrate performance ratings across the employee population
  • Remain abreast of market compensation trends affecting assigned employee populations
  • Deliver service excellence by utilizing business acumen and HR knowledge to provide solutions to managers and employees; communicate opportunities for process or procedure improvement to HRBP and across functions.
  • Facilitate executive development by utilizing situational coaching, providing candid performance feedback and recommending opportunities for personal and professional growth

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

  • 7 years relevant experience

  • Conduct gap analysis and identify, evaluate and implement innovative and efficient improvement initiatives
  • End-to-end strategic planning and implementation including risks, benefits and opportunities analysis and escalation to ensure organizational competitiveness and satisfaction of established long-range objectives
  • Utilize effective research and investigative techniques
  • Facilitate discussions and manage and resolve conflict to reconcile differences among others and between self and others
  • Effectively present thoughts to influence and persuade organizational leaders and key stakeholders to adopt innovative recommendations
  • Utilize effective written and oral communication skills
  • Manage multiple projects or responsibilities concurrently and effectively
  • Respond calmly, quickly and decisively to unpredictable or unexpected events and changes
  • Provide guidance and choose a solution to a problem even in ambiguous or difficult situations

Preferred Licenses/Certifications

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)

Preferred Knowledge

  • HR processes and procedures, industry trends, standards and best practices
  • Current applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, cultural integrations

Travel Frequency: Infrequent (approximately 1-4 trips annually)

Base pay offered will vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location and business needs
