Donview Veterinary Centre is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, social team – where we pride ourselves on our teamwork and supportive environment.
We are a busy mixed animal practice located in Inverurie offering a high level of first opinion care and provide our own out of hours service to registered clients.
We are a friendly, supportive practice. We are well equipped with a digital x-ray, dental machine, ultrasound, endoscope, in house blood machines, isolation facilities, separate dog and cat wards and separate dog and cat designated waiting areas in reception. We have excellent facilities and equipment and are always looking to improve on our existing service and capabilities.
The building has recently undergone a redesign for expansion to accommodate the growth of the practice. This redesign includes additional consult rooms, an additional theatre, imaging room, dental room, surgical instrument prep area, kennel and cattery wards, staff wellbeing room, offices and conference room.
We are proud that In 2022 we won an RCVS Knowledge award for Quality Improvement and attained ISFM gold status.
We are seeking an independent, enthusiastic and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join and support our existing nursing team. Client service and patient care is of paramount importance to us therefore passion for quality improvement is necessary. Any other specific interests will be encouraged as we support our nurses to evolve and thrive.
The successful applicants will enjoy being part of a large team and varied environment. They will be someone who wishes to use their skills and is keen to progress their knowledge and share with the team. They will have excellent communication skills, an empathetic nature and a strong ethos to achieve and deliver excellent clinical and customer care .
We welcome full time and part time applicants as we recognise the importance of a work life balance – this role does not require OOH or Sunday duties. Hours and shifts, along with pay will be discussed in more detail during the recruitment process.
