We have an opportunity for a veterinary receptionist and insurance administrator to join our friendly and hardworking team working across both Rhyl and Prestatyn practices.
You will be required to work different shifts between the hours of 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday and weekends/bank holidays 8:45 - 1:45 on a rotation basis.
20-30 hours a week.
The successful candidate must be flexible to cover holidays/sickness and be able to cover at short notice.
Reception Role: You will meet and greet clients and deliver a high standard of customer care, undertake a variety of administrative duties including booking appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records, general office administration and keeping the reception and waiting areas clean and tidy.
Insurance Role: You will process and submit pet insurance claims both by paper and online, liaising between owners, clinical staff, pet insurance companies and internal accounts. Manage pre-authorisations and track submitted claims to ensure prompt settlement. Assist owners and practice staff with insurance related queries.
We are looking for a confident, friendly, and enthusiastic individual who has excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills, has confidence and experience of computer systems, administration and multitasking. Experience of the veterinary sector is desirable. Training will be provided on the job.

Salary: £10.50-£10.72 per hour
