Veterinary practice based in Sherborne, Dorset. Salary is dependent on experience.
We are looking for a positive & enthusiastic person to join our team.
This is a full-time position working 9am-6pm Monday- Friday and a Saturday morning on a 1 in 5 rota. As a team, flexibility is important to allow cover for staff holiday and sickness.
The right candidate will have a high standard of customer care. You will be the first point of contact for our clients in practice and on the phone, therefore you will be friendly, welcoming and pro-active. You will need to be confident and able to interact with our clients offering an efficient and professional service.
The job role includes:
- Meeting & greeting all clients & patients
- Answering phones, completing client requests and relaying messages correctly to the relevant team members
- Front facing interaction with clients, including taking payments, scheduling further visits etc
- Organising appointments & providing necessary information & reminders
- Helping to manage our social media accounts
- Accurately recording client & pet information on our computer systems
- Diary management
- Keeping the reception area clean & tidy
We are a busy practice, and you will need to be able to multi-task.
Previous veterinary experience is not essential but is preferred.
Rates of pay are relevant to experience and will be discussed. Immediate start required.
