Job description
We are looking for a Veterinary Care Assistant to join the team at our Bradley Stoke Hospital.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, with the ability to work under their own initiative to maintain a high standard of cleanliness as well as having a love of animals.
Shift Pattern/Working hours
- Wednesday – Friday (10.00 a.m. to 7.00 pm)
- plus 1 in 4 Saturdays (9.00 a.m to 1.00 pm)
Job Description
You would be assisting nurses, working in kennels, cleaning cages, laundering bedding, feeding and walking the dogs.
Skills required
Good communication, team player, IT literate, and call handling skills. Experience of working with and/or handling animals an advantage.
A full, clean driving licence is essential as you will occasionally be required to drive our ambulance to other surgeries.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £10.60 per hour

- Animal care: 1 year (preferred)
- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
