The Role
No weekends and no out-of-hours! We are looking for either a surgery certificate holder or someone keen to advance their surgical skills and expand our surgical service, taking internal surgical cases from across our group of clinics.
Typically, the work schedule will be 40 hours per week with an emphasis on surgery- operating from 10 am- 3 pm every day, with a 4-day week. There are no out of hours or weekend duties associated with this role. We are also open to hear from those who are wanting part time or reduced hours. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work life balance. We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance.
Salary up to £63,000 FTE depending on experience plus relocation and welcome bonus fees.
Fees to enable the successful candidate to study for a surgery certificate will be provided, subject to a training agreement, and full support will be given to help facilitate this, if necessary, with further training from a local surgery certificate holder.
About Us
With the imminent arrival of our lovely new vet who is completing their internal medicine certificate, we are looking for a potential surgical certificate candidate to complement our evolving team and drive our internal case referrals, elevating the care offering we can offer to our clients within our own group. TVC New Hall is in Walmley Village, a leafy North-Eastern suburb of Brum with cafes and independent shops. Sutton Park and New Hall Valley country park are a stone's throw away and Birmingham city centre is a short hop.
About the Team and Culture
Our New Hall family of 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, as well as our friendly receptionist really focus on patient welfare. Our RVNs run well-established nurse consultations - as well as being an integral part of our TVC nursing committee!
The team work hard together to maintain a great working environment supporting each other to ensure job satisfaction and well-being.
Our group is registered with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, and we are in the process of becoming Dogs Trust Dog-Friendly Clinics.
