The Role
Bridge Vets in Aberdeen are seeking a permanent full-time first opinion small animal surgeon to join our team. The role is primarily based at our Portlethen branch but may include working at other branches on occasions, day to day you will carry out routine consultations, medical investigations and on occasion complex surgery work ups, we see small furies and exotics as well as small animal caseloads.Rota
Working up to 38 hours per week (Part time hours can also be considered)Saturday rota covering from 8am-1pm – This can be on either a 1:3 or 1:4 basis

Salary
Up to £60,000 depending on experience.About Us
Fully equipped RCVS tier 2 branch. Two consulting rooms, operating theatre, radiography suite, prep area and kennels with separate isolation. Portlethen is on the South side of Aberdeen just off the A90 dual carriageway with local amenities within walking distance of the practice. Portlethen has two Veterinary surgeons working there from a total team of 11 Vets. Support staff on a daily basis include receptionist, student nurse and RVN. Internally we have a cardiologist and a dermatologist and a referral sister practice in Aberdeenshire. Our team is motivated and positive and always welcome with a friendly smile.Applicant requirements
Applicants would benefit from a number of years' post-graduate experience within UK practice. They will have experience in a clinical setting and be comfortable to carry out routine consultations, medical investigations and surgery without supervision. There is some sole charge required. A friendly approach to clients and good communication skills are essential. We are looking for a team player, flexible mindset and a can-do attitude.Because our employees matter
