About us
Martin and Carr Vets is a fantastic, small animal practice based in the lovely town of Pershore. We have a wonderful team of 10 Vets and 10 Nurses who are all supportive, friendly and looking forward to helping out a new graduate. Within the team, we have 4 Small Animal Medicine certificates and 1 Small Animal Surgery.
We have a full endoscopy suite, state of the art ultrasound including full colour doppler, CR radiography and DR radiography for dental. High speed dental machines, dental suite. Spacious airconditioned consult rooms. Walk in kennels, separate cat kennels. Laparoscopic bitch spays, specialist resident orthopaedic surgeon, anaesthetics monitored by RVN's with multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring as necessary.
About the role
Your normal working hours will be 40 hours per week over 4.5 days.
We are a very supportive practice and regularly openly discuss cases and bring all surgeons on by involving them in operations, with support. We would be very happy to have all prospective applicants come to work with us for a week to see for themselves. We encourage and support the graduate to gain confidence, but we understand all applicants progress at different rates and are happy to and we hope to make you the best Vet you aspire to become within the graduate scheme. Our retention rate of Vets is high, previous graduate academy Vets have stayed with us to complete certificates in their chosen subjects which we fully support.
