We are looking for a Personal Assistant to help care for Liz who is based in Sandhead. Liz enjoys music and dancing. She loves her clothes and likes to change her outfit several times a day. She adores her Jack Russel dog and her cats. She enjoys a jigsaw puzzle and colouring in with assistance.
Liz requires support and prompting with everyday tasks like getting showered, teeth brushed, hair brushed, getting breakfast, taking medication.
Liz is a fun-loving lady who from time to time suffers spells of anxiety and paranoia. Communication is getting difficult as her speech is confused therefore an ideal candidate must be patient and understanding.
Requirements
- Clean Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
- It is desirable that applicants have had previous experience in adult support services or care services. Experience in caring for elderly living with Alzheimer’s.
- It is important that the successful candidate can work as a team and communicate appropriate information to other PAs as and when required.
- Post is subject to a satisfactory PVG.
- Successful candidate must be willing to cover holidays and sickness also.
