Candor Vets are delighted to be working with a well-established practice in Derby in search of a Senior Veterinary Surgeon. They are offering a competitive salary of up to £70,000 DOE, along with a Welcome Bonus of up to £5,000 and a Relocation Allowance of up to £5,000 (terms apply).

The Practice:

• An RCVS accredited practice with a strong reputation in Derby.
• Well-equipped facilities, including 4 consult rooms, separate cattery and kennel wards, an in-house laboratory, dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room, large theatre, and prep room.

Main Duties:

• As a Senior/Head Vet, the successful candidate will lead and mentor the vet team.
• Integral part of the management team, working closely with the Practice Principal to contribute to the practice’s management, organization, and financial performance.
• Opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of the practice through collaboration with the experienced leadership team.
• Full range of first opinion veterinary services, including orthopedic work.
• Flexible working options available, with the possibility of full-time or part-time roles, depending on the applicant’s preference.
