Job description
Role
- Installing and subsequent removal of stage equipment in performance venues.
- Welcoming the artists, assisting with their technical rehearsals.
- Assisting in daily turnarounds between shows.
- Ensuring that all backstage facilities and equipment are maintained.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to by visiting companies and reporting any issues to management.
Person Specification
- Experience of working as a venue or stage manager in a professional environment, preferably in a festival setting.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety in a theatrical environment.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
