ABOUT THE POST
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Venue Manager,
focused on delivering exceptional customer service with financial and
operational knowledge of working in a varied, fast paced environment.
This role works closely with all managers within the Events, Hospitality
& Business services team in delivering hospitality to all events and
developing a student events programme focusing on creativity,
engagement
and value for money. This role will also work with the Student Union and
3rd party supplier.
As a key member of the Estates Events, Hospitality & Business Services
team this role will support our service areas with responsibility to
manage the efficient running of the day-to-day operations of the Front
of House Venue Team across both campuses, ensuring an excellent
customer
experience for London Met students, staff and visitors.
Good knowledge of event technical equipment, food hygiene and health &
safety processes is required, along with ensuring licence regulations
are followed.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role is instrumental in
ensuring Events & Hospitality services on campus are welcoming,
inclusive, customer focused and engaged with, leading to financially
sustainability and a positive contribution to our university community.
The Venue Manager will form part of the duty management team as part of
a rota, working flexibly over seven days a week service.
The post requires a personal licence or the ability to get one.
This post will be subject to a DBS check.
