National Minimum Wage - £10,004.80 - £19,760.00
Plus the opportunity to receive your Vocational Competence Qualification (VCQ) – IMIAL Diploma in Vehicle Parts Operations Competence at levels 3, Vocational Related Qualification (VRQ) – IMIAL Diploma in Vehicle Parts Operations Principles at levels 3, Functional Skills – Maths, English and ICT, Advanced Apprenticeship in Vehicle Parts Certificate and Toyota Bronze Award

The Apprentice Technician / Mechanic role:
As an Apprentice Service Technician at RRG Toyota you’ll be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repair from routine servicing to complete component overhaul of vehicle systems.
Your apprenticeship focus will be in Light Vehicle and Maintenance and Repair and the overall programme will last three years. You will be partnered with one of our own Technicians who will be your mentor throughout your apprenticeship journey.
You’ll use the very latest hi-tech diagnostic procedures and equipment on the most sophisticated electronic and computer-controlled vehicle systems.
You will gain experience in:
+ Wheels, Tyres, Steering, Suspension and Braking Systems
+ Service Inspection and Maintenance, Pre and Post work activates
+ Diagnosis and Rectification of Light Vehicle Engine Faults, Chassis etc
Once trained as a technician you will be expected to carry out a wide variety of tasks from routine maintenance to full overhaul.
About you:
+ Ideally, you’ll have achieved GCSE A-C equivalent or new grades 4-9 in Maths and English although this is not mandatory.
+ Level 2/3 vehicle college qualification would be advantageous
