About the Role As a Defence Safety Specialist, you will be at the forefront of land systems certification, placing a strong emphasis on safety within Army Capability. Picture yourself: Collaborating with experts from various disciplines to solve complex engineering challenges. Conducting in-depth analysis and presenting clear and actionable outputs that shape the decision-making process. Identifying and mitigating risks, while defining system benefits that enhance defence projects. About You The client is looking for individuals who are passionate about Defence and Safety, with a strong engineering background. If this is you, envision yourself in the following: Utilizing your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address military and defence challenges. Leveraging your level 4 to level 6 qualifications (e.g., HNC to a BSc) in engineering or related disciplines. Overview Job Title: Safety Engineer Location: Bristol 3 days onsite Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience Key Skills: To excel in this role, you should bring expertise in two or more the following areas: Commercial vehicle design, bespoke vehicles, and military vehicles. Noise and vibration, RADHAZ, Fire & Explosion, OME, robotics and autonomous systems, human factors. Armed Forces experience with a focus on soldier effectiveness and safety.
