Full time (40hrs at 5 days a week) Holiday: 21 days plus 7 days statutory.

Working hours - 07:30 - 16:00 - Monday to Friday. X1 30 minute break.

The role involves the following:

• Using a powered Jet Wash, you will be responsible for washing trucks, trailers and waste vehicles that are due to be sent for inspections, repairs and MOT's.
• Cleaning the vehicles inside and out to a top standard.
• You will be the custodian of the wash down area and responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the wash down area.
• You will clean out skips and bins that require repair and conduct minor repairs such as replacing lids and wheels. Training is given.
• Carrying out any support works for the workshop/plant/fabrication team.
• Full supply of correct PPE at no cost to the individual.
• Supporting the yard supervisor tidying up the yard when needed.

Key skills:

• Hard working.
• Able to work as part of a team but able to be trusted to complete tasks with minimal to no supervision.
• Previous use of a jet wash.
• Having a drivers licence is desirable.
• Having some mechanical aptitude is desirable but training can also be given to complete simple repairs on the bins.

Previous experience cleaning vehicles will be looked at favourably.

There is also the option of voluntary overtime within this roles' function, or to support other areas in the business, providing an opportunity to enhance your skill set.
