Here at DCL Group we pride ourselves on being the service partner of choice for many of the well known parcel carriers. Specialising in time critical and final mile delivery support services, we work with several national brands as an integral compenent to their delivery operation.
As an ambitious and expanding company we are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable driver to join our team in Plymouth. Experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
We are seeking a friendly and reliable individual for a new night trunk route operating from Plymouth 5 nights per week. Reliability in this role is absolutely key.
Typical hours are 19:30 through until 07:30 each night. Expect to work a 12 hour shift. The van would be collected in Plymouth, one collection is made and then taken to a national sortation hub in the midlands. Generally there is a 1-1.5hr wait while you are tipped and reloaded. You should be back and unloaded in Plymouth by 07:30.
THIS IS A SELF EMPLOYED POSITION at the rate of £130 per night. An additional £100 per week bonus is also available for attendance / vehicle damage so as long as you turn up every day and look after the van, you would be earning £750 per week. We supply the van and everything you will need. Weekly pay, 1 week in arrears.
