Job description

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided van to deliver products to designated locations.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team to plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, maintaining a positive company image.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any issues.
• Handle the loading and unloading of products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including obtaining customer signatures.
• Assist with warehouse duties and inventory management as needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with digital navigation tools and devices.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of products.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £28,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (required)
• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
