Hirepoint ltd is looking for a Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the toolhire industry, has a flexible schedule, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

• Transport vehicles to and from Hirepoint ltd repair shops
• Ensure vehicles are clean and tidy on a daily basis
• Maintain the company vehicle by cleaning, maintaining tires, and oil changes
• Comply with all traffic rules and follow company policies
• Act as a customer advocate to ensure satisfied customers who are our best clients
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager/owner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required with CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. (this is an absolute physical requirement of this position)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills (must be able to communicate effectively in English)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £11.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sale: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
