We are looking for a Rates and FX Valuation Controller to:
We are looking for a Rates and FX Valuation Controller to:
- be part of a valuation control team with regular interaction with front office
- review results across the global trading portfolios
- supervise the valuation control process for Rates and FX businesses
- analyze and challenge results
- collaborate on continuous improvement and projects across the bank
- innovate and look for automation opportunities
- work closely with wider global valuations control team as part of the IPV and projects team
- be regarded as a point of contact for valuation queries

Your expertise
- ideally a Bachelor's degree in a mathematical or finance related field
- knowledge of exotic rates and FX options models and valuations
- prior experience of a valuations role is preferable or wider experience in financial markets
- control mindset and accounting background is desirable but not necessary
- analytical and methodical with an attention to detail
- ability to think laterally and solve problems
- programming ability e.g. Python/VBA or an interest to learn
- strong communication skills and ability to adapt to the audience
