Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is currently seeking Band 5 Vaccinators to join their team for the next 8 weeks on a full time basis. Working 9.30am – 5.30pm with shift available on both weekdays and weekends.

About the Trust
Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust provides physical, mental health and social care for all ages. Areas covered within the Trust are Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North Somerset. Services delivered within Community Bases, Hospitals, Clinics and within People’s homes, focusing on delivering care as close to home as possible.
What you will be responsible for
- Administer the COVID-19 vaccine to citizens as per the standard operating procedure (SOP).
- Confirm the identity of the citizen and the agreement of undertaking vaccination, addressing any concerns.
- Ensure that the vaccination is conducted in line with the citizen’s condition.
- Administer vaccines into the citizen’s deltoid in accordance with training and local and national policies, procedures and standards.
The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.
You will have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Vaccinator for a UK hospital environment within the last 3 years
· Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
· Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
