About The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an award-winning Transport team, who have won numerous awards for Operational, Business and H&S excellence over the last two years. Most recently, at the 2021 Motor Transport Awards.
As a V20 Driver, you will work Monday to Friday inclusive. The hourly rate will be £14.40 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to £750. On top of this, you will be guaranteed a minimum of 48 hours a week. You’ll also receive 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays off.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Home delivery of kitchens (physically demanding role)
  • Working efficiently as a 2-man crew , Loading and unloading of the vehicle
  • Ensure that Van Delivery Porters proactively make customer phone calls with ETA’s and keeps records of deliveries
  • Adhering to EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations
  • Ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported to your Transport Office team

About You

Essential Skills and Knowledge:
  • Hold a valid C1 license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Holds an up to date Driver CPC Qualification
  • Holds an up to date Digital Tachograph Card
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
  • Experience in the ‘Home Delivery’ service
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
