Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and improve processes and frameworks to enable consistency and efficiency such as design systems, guidelines, and pattern or component libraries
- Designing the end-to-end (UX and UI) experience and can work across the lifecycle of a product feature.
- Plan, brief, collaborate and/or conduct remote and in-person user tests to research and validate proposed designs and other additional UX recommendations reports.
- Research and think through complex user problems, finding reasonable solutions, mocking them up in detail, and working with engineers to build them
- Work collaboratively with Product teams, Creative teams, Copywriters, front-end developers, Data Analysts and other internal and external stakeholders as required.
Experience
- At least 3 years of proven UI/UX design experience with the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs preferably at a fashion retailer.
- Proficient with design tools such as Figma, our primary digital design and prototyping tool, as well as virtual whiteboarding tools such as Miro or Mural.
- Knowledge of interaction design and user experience best practices.
- Ability to create and update design systems and version control tools/processes.
- Familiarity with agile processes and development languages such as HTML/CSS.
- Experience with user research techniques and reporting, preferably with remote user testing tools such as Userbrain or Usertesting.com.
- Knowledge of e-commerce and transactional systems.
- Experience designing mobile apps and responsive web applications

- Self-motivated, problem solver and results-oriented
- Experience managing competing priorities and working to tight delivery timelines
- A strong portfolio, demonstrating excellent research, design and analytical skills along with a personable and professional demeanour.
