ROLE OVERVIEW
Mainline Menswear is one of the biggest names in men’s fashion in the UK, offering all the biggest brands. We ship orders to over 120 countries via eight custom built territorial websites and an app. During the last twelve months our market share dramatically increased in the UK, and the growth of the business is on an upward trajectory towards breaking a nine-figure turnover.

In line with continual company growth we are looking to recruit a talented UX (User Experience) Designer to join us. Working within the existing web development team and reporting to the Front End Lead Developer and Head of Development the successful applicant will be responsible for helping to deliver user experience enhancements across the companies’ customer facing platforms.
Located on the outskirts of Scarborough, close to the A64, Seamer train station and public transport with free parking.
The role is full time, the working hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday with optional working from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and non negotiable in office working on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Help to deliver the UX enhancement program on a global scale.
Work with the Front End, App and Marketing teams to improve the KPIs of the customer facing platforms through UX practices.
Use any available data or information to identify issues or pain points for customers and work to remove any barriers that stop or slow them from completing a task.
Where data doesn’t exist be prepared to think outside of the box with regards to research, user testing, auditing and additional data collection techniques.
Manage the relationships with 3rd party software vendors, account managers and external UX experts to enhance your UX knowledge and understanding.
Be open minded with regards to data aiding decision making on design and user flow.
SKILLS
Experience and expertise in technical design for websites and app, considering both users and developers when creating designs.
Working knowledge in at least two of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery is preferred but not essential.
A keen eye for design and an ability to positively impact customer experience through design is essential.
Experience with Figma, Adobe XD or other design tools.
Relevant degree or professional qualification preferred but not essential.
Experience of working with ecommerce websites and apps, preferably within the retail vertical would be ideal.
