Purpose:
We’re looking for a User Researcher to conduct research across several aspects of a new and exciting fintech product. The impact and remit of the role is huge, with lots of opportunity for future growth. You will be a critical part of our growth and will focus on cross-functional partnership to design generative and evaluative research that supports our product & business strategy in order to drive successful outcomes.
What you will be doing:
- Take ownership of the full research cycle - from establishing research questions and scheduling the participants to material creation. From data analysis and report creation to presenting insights back to the team and key stakeholders.
- Take an integral part in researching the user’s needs, conduct surveys, interviews, user testing, internal & external workshops and more.
- Collaborate and work closely with the design team, developers, product leads and others cross functional teams.
- Writing and refining user stories, journey maps and other documentation.
- Review analytics to enhance customer experience, improve conversion and increase retention.
- Clearly articulate a POV around UX topics, industry trends and business objectives.
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience with clear mixed-methods capabilities of conducting user research, either as a researcher or a designer.
- Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Ability to find rich patterns and insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
- Confidence in presenting user research and promoting UX principles and championing the voice of the customer.
- Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A passion for finding customer problems to solve, through user-centric design.
- Capable of deriving meaningful insight from data and various research sources.
- Review analytics and various monitoring tools to inform how we can enhance the customer experience, improve conversion, increase retention and make usability improvements.
- A growth mindset and a willingness to own problems, an enthusiasm for building products, and a desire to make things better.
- Can comprehend complex systems, predict edge cases and provide relevant solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels with an ability to champion design thinking and influence key stakeholders.
Locations: Hybrid working. Office location can be London or Leeds.
