As our Junior UI/UX Designer you’ll be working directly with the Web Team to make sure our deliverables are top notch! You will report directly to our Lead UI/UX designer, and your main tasks will be reviewing websites that our developers have built, making edits to UI/UX designs based on client feedback and creating basic web designs with the guidance of our Lead Designer.
This is an entry level position, your main responsibility will be supporting our Web team to finalize existing projects, and as we grow together you will start taking on projects of your own.
Marketing is a fast paced environment and we work with a multitude of clients across the energy sector, so we’re looking for designers with versatility, creativity and the ability to tap into a company’s style fairly easily. We need someone who knows the Adobe Creative Suite inside and out, particularly Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop.
WHAT YOU DO:
- Reviewing websites that our developers have built
- Making edits to UI/UX designs based on client feedback
- Creating basic web designs with the guidance of our Lead Designer
- Managing multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Should have an eye for details, good with research, problem solving skills and needs to have a good understanding with the user requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Good knowledge about user flow, wireframing, UI and prototyping
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
- Located in Montreal.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is a full-time, contract position. The schedule is Monday-Friday 10am-6pm EST. Applicants must be in Montreal, Quebec. The salary is CAD $48,000 annually. Contract includes paid holidays and paid time off. A professional level of spoken and written English is a requirement for this role.
