About the role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic UX Designer to join our flagship product team. The role is diverse and has a lot of cross team working.
Working in a dynamic agile framework, our purpose is to create digital technology that changes what’s possible for clinicians and patients within mental health.
UX Designer – Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the rest of the design team to create feature improvements and new functionality
- Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Developers and stakeholders in an agile/scrum setting
- Research, ideate and test insights to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, and accessible interfaces that best serve the needs of our users
- Work creatively within the technical constraints and business strategy that shapes our product.
You are:
- A self starter and thrive in managing yourself and workload
- Empathetic towards the users you advocate for
- Passionate about team/cross-team work and encouragement of best practices
- An enthusiastic problem solver
- Comfortable working in close collaboration with the wider product team.
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a UX role
- Strong understanding of UX principles and design processes
- Strong understanding of accessibility requirements
- Experience conducting user research and leading user feedback sessions
- Experienced with working on multiple projects at a time
- Strong skills in figma
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in creating and improving UX processes within product teams
- Nice to have experience working in an agile environment.

Hours and Location
The position is available for 20 hours per week – 37.5 hours per week, based in Oldfield Park.
Our teams have decided our place of work policy which guides all staff. We believe there is significant benefit from working face to face for our collaborative work. We also believe that other activities can be performed well away from the office. As a general guideline, we believe effective communication and relationships are maintained by being in the office for around half your working time, and depending on the needs of the business and teams. The role involves occasional travel.
