The Role
As a User Experience Researcher at Robin AI, your role will be to understand and define the problems that the legal industry has learned to live with. You will work with product designers and the entire company to deliver cutting-edge, user-friendly, machine-learning-powered software that makes lives easier for anyone who uses our solution. The role requires spending time interviewing and understanding users in order to better identify areas of disruption. You will be expected to synthesise and communicate the results in a way that is accessible to the wider team. You will consistently be looking for ways to make the organisation ‘best-in-class’ when it comes to proactive UX and will have a real opportunity to influence the growth of the team.
Tech Stack
Our design team have curated a set of tools that allow us to work collaboratively and transparently. We use Figma and FigJam for everything design related. We utilise Maze and Dovetail to conduct and store our interviews, research and usability testing.
Responsibilities
Design, plan and lead user research and usability testing activities
Uncover, synthesise and communicate behavioural insights from discovery and incorporate them into UX deliverables
Produce high-quality user experience outputs such as user journeys, wireframes, test plans, research briefs, insight reports and personas/archetypes
Suggest pragmatic design recommendations, balancing user needs, business requirements and technical constraints
Keep up with research best practices and explore ways of incorporating them into our methodologies
Design and lead workshops with our clients and present deliverables to senior stakeholders
Help define the UX process working alongside other disciplines
Your Skills
You will be confident in shaping rigorous research projects, drawing from eclectic styles and methodologies to inform the best possible outcomes
You will have a background in psychology, anthropology, or even design, and you can’t get enough of how the mind works - keenly sharing the latest research or discoveries
You will have respect for tried and tested ideas, but are keen to push boundaries and break new ground
You are pragmatic and hands-on when it comes to turning ideas into reality, using an evolving set of tools and techniques to collaborate across disciplines
You believe in the long-term application of Human Centred Design and Digital technology, holding informed opinions on emerging trends like Circular Design or the implications of AI
You will have a portfolio that tells a clear and compelling story about your work history and extensive research skills
