Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a part-time Finance Assistant to join the Institute’s Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, you will be a key member of a small team who will be responsible for the day-to-day transactions, which underpin the operations of the Institute.
You will be a self-motivated and proactive individual, who is a team player, with the ability to work to deadlines, whilst managing and organizing your own workload. A high attention to detail and accuracy will be required, with the ability to communicate professionally with all stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent level, with experience of working in financial administration, including competency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and databases. Previous experience of using Oracle and SAP Concur is advantageous, but not necessary, as on the job training will be provided.
This is a permanent part-time (0.54fte) position, working 19 hours per week.
