User Experience Designer
Location: Newcastle
Please Note: Due to the nature of client work you will be undertaking, you will need to be willing to go through a Security Clearance process as part of this , which requires 5+ years UK address history at the point of application.

As a UX Designer, you will:
Adhere to UX standards and patterns by working closely with the client and other designers on your team
Create design assets such as user flows and wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs and reusable design components
Advocate for the needs of the user,
Design accessible (WCAG-compliant) products and services for people with a wide variety of needs and abilities
Design, facilitate and participate in design workshops to enable collaboration, ideation and innovation
Present your work, both internally and to client stakeholders, using storytelling to convey your message in a way that resonates with the audience
Accommodate business rules and constraints whilst following a user-centric approach and rapidly testing and iterating your work
Use insights from user research, feedback and data to inform your decisions, and confidently articulate your design rationale to different audiences
Validate your designs through a range of appropriate testing methods
Collaborate with other teams and specialisms, for example Developers, Product, Delivery, Content
Work closely with our UX & Design Capability to share knowledge, learn new skills, nurture aspiring designers, and design transformational products and services
We are looking for:
You can use tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Axure and the Adobe Suite
A solid understanding of UX principles
You have worked as part of an Agile, multidisciplinary team
You can address the needs of key stakeholders whilst creating a user-centric design that enables your users to achieve their goal
You have worked with, and contributed to, brand guidelines, design patterns and standards
Experience using HTML, CSS
Some experience in another design or design-related role, e.g. Content Design, Service Design, User Research, BA, Product Owner, Front End Developer

Have a portfolio where you showcase examples of User Journeys, Prototyping, Iterative Design Process, User Testing and User Interface Design.
