An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Urgent Primary Care (GPOOHs) team as a Service Supervisor. The role is fast paced, and challenging. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills and will need to work closely and effectively with both clinical and non-clinical staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the band 2 Receptionist/Driver staff and ensuring the smooth running of the shift, you will liaise with GPs, on-call Managers and other Health Care professionals. The post holder will assist the on-call Clinical Manager in the delivery of safe, efficient, effective and timely patient care.
You will be responsible for; Sickness Management, PADRs and training of the Band 2 staff and managing/resolving operational issues e.g. covering shifts or system issues.
The post holder will be expected to manage their own work as there will be minimum supervision. You will need to have a good working knowledge of Adastra and a good knowledge of UPC (GPOOHs).
You will need to be able to work shifts during the evening, weekends overnight and bank holidays.
