Job description
We are proud to offer an employed position within our Care and Wellbeing company where you will be provided with excellent support and up to date training. We are a small and friendly company who are passionate about the high quality of care and wellbeing that we provide both our clients and staff members!
We are urgently looking for someone special that is just as dedicated as we are in providing high quality care, and to be able to start as soon as possible.
My client is such a lovely gentleman of 86 who has capacity. He has recently had a fall which has knocked his confidence a little, so it would be lovely to have someone to provide gentle support and encouragement. We are looking for a lovely chatty person who can provide good companionship, someone who is gentle and patient, who is happy to prompt with medication, and to be around for support if needed for personal care – which he is happy to do himself without assistance.
My client loves sports, especially horse racing, golf and bowling. It would be wonderful to see him get out more socially as since his wife passed recently, things have been a little difficult for him.
The Care and Wellbeing Assistant will ideally be local with some flexibility if needed. Reporting care notes will be required on an electrical device ( mobile) and you will be supported from the Wellbeing Consultant/assistant with any concerns.
The ideal candidate will be:
* on the DBS update service
* gentle and kind
* empathetic and can 'read the room'
* happy to provide nutritious cooked meals
* a good 'companion' throughout the day
* able to drive with a clean drivers license and own a car preferably
If this sounds of interest to you, please contact us for a friendly chat. We look forward to hearing from you!
