Unqualified Teaching Assistant Vacancies in Southampton
- Location: Havant, Hampshire
- Start date: ASAP
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
We are looking for motivated and caring individuals to work as a teaching assistant in primary, secondary and SEN schools across Havant. This role will give candidates the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and help students to reach their full potential. Previous experience working as a teaching assistant is not essential, although other relevant experience, working or supporting children is advantageous.
Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
What you can expect from this position:
- Setting up classrooms ready for lessons.
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of learning activities.
- Working with small groups of young people to carry out interventions.
- Supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
- 1:1 support with students.
- To promote positive pupil behaviour in line with school policies and help keep pupils on task.
